It’s my favourite Zelda game already but it might not even come to North America. 🙁 Other than that it’s been a slow week for news, a lot of trailers popping up, rumours, and things getting titles. - $6M Dota 2 championship: The largest prize pool ever in e-sports — and it’s still growing the previous largest was last year’s International at $2.9 million. Other large tournaments in 2014 include the $1 million Call of Duty Championship
- YouTube is acquiring Twitch
- Hyrule Warriors, finally gets a release date. The only thing is, it’s for Japan. Gamers in the archipelago country on August 14. Though it hasn’t been confirmed that those stateside and in the EU will even get the game.
- Steam Streaming has opened up to all users http://store.steampowered.com/streaming/
- chuckee cheese is putting occulus rift in all their restraunts(are they restraunts?) starting with dallas.
- 2015 won’t simply be the year of “Halo 5: Guardians,” it will also be a year that offers us a unique opportunity. The opportunity to invite old friends and new audiences into that universe through the “Halo” television series, launched as a unique collaboration with Steven Spielberg
